The Asian Business Professional Network’s mission is to foster, celebrate and develop Asian and Asian American talent and promote cultural awareness across JLL. The group aims to create a community of like-minded individuals who can provide mentorship and advice for professional growth and address the needs of JLL employees with Asian, South Asian and Middle Eastern heritage.

I joined ABPN to support a newly formed organization that was trying to develop a community for Asian Americans. Along with the national ABPN team, I’m honored to help assist and lead our efforts by organizing impactful events, engaging with local communities, creating a wealth of resources and encouraging engagement. We have an incredible wealth of Asian American talent within the JLL business community that can be tapped to support these efforts.

After 13 years with JLL, I jumped at the opportunity to be part of ABPN because I wanted to develop meaningful relationships with colleagues who have a shared experience of being Asian in America and how that impacts our everyday work life. ABPN is an important support system for Asian American professionals, as well as a cultural education resource for our JLL colleagues to help guide them through our global community.

Alan is JLL’s Global Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary. In this role, Alan leads a team of 170 plus lawyers worldwide as well as the Internal Audit and Risk team. His many accolades include the “2020 Legends in Law” by the Burton Foundation, in partnership with the American Bar Association, and earned the Corporate Leadership Award from the Asian American Bar Association of New York. Alan is the Executive Sponsor of the Asian Business Professionals Network since June 2020.
